Teaching has long been a passion of mine. After earning my Oregon teaching license, earning my endorsement in Social Studies, and completing my degree in Education, I substituted in the area before beginning my Master’s. While in the classroom, I felt frustrated at the lack of technology integration and began the MSEd Information Technology program at WOU with a graduate assistant position. After being hired on as an academic advisor at WOU, I had the opportunity to teach for the Division of Education and Leadership. Artifacts from my

teaching experience can be found in this section. If you are interested in my transition and development as an academic advisor, please click here.
